Deceased Name: DENIS GRADWELL
LILLIAN - Denis Gradwell, 74, died Monday, April 7, 2003. He was a native of Birmingham, England, former resident of Toledo, Ohio, and a resident of Lillian.
He was a veteran of the British Army and played soccer for the American Turners Soccer League.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Gradwell of Lillian; four daughters, Eileen Davis of Perrysburg, Ohio, Debra Edwards of Toledo, Susan Ham of Covington, Ky., and Sharon Howard of Gaston, S.C.; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lillian, with Father Edward Markley officiating.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., Suite 1100, New York, NY 10016.
Arrangements are by Pine Rest Funeral Home in Foley.
