Ernest Bevin Ribey
RIBEY, Ernest Bevin - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ernest Bevin Ribey, August 12, 2013. At home surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous fight with cancer. He was 66. Loving and devoted father and husband, he leaves behind his wife and best friend Linda Ribey. His son Dave Ribey, daughter Laura-Lee Ribey-Hicks (Bryan). Stepdaughters Debbie Hemstock (Blain), Stacey Middleton (Rod Bujold) Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Anna and Brendan Ribey, Victoria Hicks, Cole, Jenna, Gillian, and Gavin Hemstock, Leithan and Kalleigh Bujold. Survived by sister Joyce (Ray) Klem - Kitchener, brother Leon (Judy) Ribey - Waterloo, brother-in-laws Clayton Reist- Kitchener and Andy Siegrist- Sauble Beach. Predeceased by parents Thomas and Florence Ribey, sisters Patricia Reist and Adelle Siegrist and nieces Anna Siegrist, Brittanya Hadland and Krista Milhousen. Loved and sadly missed by many dear nieces, nephews, family and friends. At Bevins request cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at the Port Elgin Legion, Friday, August 23, 2013 1pm -4pm. Donations can be made to the Grey Bruce V.O.N. or the Wesley United Church.
