Great! I've attached a family photo of John Garside - seated in the deck chair - Emilie  - to the centre, Herbert Stanley (but always known as Stanley) and my Grandmother Elizabeth seated on the hammock. The photo was taken at the family home " Pinder Oak" in Barnsley, Yorkshire I guess around the turn of the century. I do have some other photos which I will try to dig out for you.
Sadly I have no recollection of my grandmother who died in the early 1960's but strangely I have some vague memories of Uncle Stanley Gradwell & his wife Aunty Florrie - Florence Ellis. Large red brick built house with coal fires which they would sit either side of and ring the bell for the maid when more coal was needed. The house is still standing "Montana" 71 Mount Vernon Road and does appear on google street view though not too clearly and has been changed from it's heyday.
Stanley ran the family business of Turner & Charlesworth which was a small department store in Cheapside, Barnsley.
Stanley and Florrie did have a son, Brian, who died only a year or so ago. He saw service in the Navy in WW2 particularly with the landings in Italy. Sadly he was badly affected and spent most of his life in supported care or residential care. He never married so that line has drawn to a close.
Grandma Elizabeth married Godfrey Russell Potter, they had two sons who you mention in one of the wills, Stanley Russell Potter & Philip Russell Potter both of whom have passed. Phil was my father.
When looking through "Cousin" Brian's papers there is mention of Dr Benjamin Garside Gradwell a psychiatrist who died in London in 1971. He's clearly a relative but I was never able to find out which branch he came from or who is father was.
You also show a living relative but with no personal details. If you are able to I'd be interested to know who they are and where they are today.
I'll dig out some other photos and also update you with the full dates for Brian.
Can I ask how you have come to pull together such an extensive archive and why the Gradwells in particular?
    Hope you enjoy the pictures.

    Kind regards
    Jon
