Ruth Cooper, a sales associate for Goldman's Ladies Wear for many years, died Thursday in Concord. She was 92.
The native of Illinois lived in Chicago before moving to Walnut Creek 50 years ago. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining, needlework, knitting and quilting.
She is survived by her daughter, Joy Zeidler of Clayton; son, Alfred Cooper of Savannah, Ga.; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Her husband of 62 years, Alfred Charles Cooper, died in 1988.
Services: Will be private. Burial at Oakmont Memorial Park, Lafayette. Arrangements by Oakmont Mortuary.
