POWELL-TRELFORD, Joan (née POWELL)
On October 22, 2006 at Central Place Retirement Home, Owen Sound. Beloved wife of the late Bob TRELFORD (deceased November 19, 2004). Predeceased by her parents, Edward and Madeline POWELL and her brother Ted. Long time employee of the Bank of Montreal in Toronto and elsewhere. Joan will be forever loved and remembered by her niece Dianna HARRIS and her husband John and their children Chera and Chris, her nephew Rick POWELL and his wife Anne CHANDLER, her nephew Michael POWELL and his wife Linda and their children Ryan and Erin and her sister-in-law Yvonne BALL- POWELL. Joan's memory will be cherished by her “new” family, Peter TRELFORD and his son Adam, Sally SLUMSKIE (TRELFORD) and her husband Ted and their children Kelsey and Cody. “Though we called her Joan, she was like a grandma.” At Joan's request, a service will not be held. Cremation has taken place. Family and close Friends will gather next summer to celebrate Joan's life. Donations in Joan's memory directed to the Grey Bruce Regional Health Centre Foundation or your charity of choice would be appreciated. A special thanks to all those who provided care, compassion and Friendship throughout Joan's illness.
