      438 Bordesley Green - lived there most of his life

      they had lodgers - young men who worked in nearby factory - Agnes flirted with them

      when first married, moved to Bordesley Green (built in 1900) as tenants of old lady Smith, then council found them a house other side of town, but they only stayed six months because Agnes missed nearby sisters, moved back to be tenants and eventually got house from council themselves -- close neighbour community

      Unverified note in Doreen’s hand: Developed eye problems after hooking up overhead trolley poles incorrectly - eyelashes grow inward, had them plucked monthly
